A performative exploration as an attempt to bring the present to appear
Zur Zartheit von Rissen (“The delicacy of cracks“) is dedicated to exploring the magic of perception, possibilities of transforming it and opening up one's own worlds of experience to others. Deriving from the question: What is there? it deals with the depth of immediate living spaces and the complexity of the incidental, the everyday and the supposedly unspectacular.
After intense practice of observation - the study of Heizhaus as the central heat generator of Uferstudios with its own ecosystem including the wider surroundings, people and other inhabitants - a performative expedition tour has developed. Constantly in process, the encounter with the audience becomes an experiment of possibilities of extending perceptual conventions and formats between retreat & expedition, staging & everyday life.
Bella Hager and Lea Martini (choreography), together with Marta Forsberg (sound) and Gilda Coustier (light) open the metal doors of Heizhaus on three afternoons from 3.-5.2.2023 to explore new ways of perceiving and interpreting the surrounding with the audience and to spend the blue hour together in Heizhaus.
Supported by Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media within the program NEUSTART KULTUR.
