Agata Maszkiewicz and the collective Superamas present a playful performance in the open air.
Zero to Infinity is a choreography for lights, landscape and sound, inspired by one of humanity’s greatest questions: Where is our place in the universe? While modern science supplies a plethora of explanations and theories, they are so complex they leave most of us baffled. So, in the end, we all need to work out our own answers.
Zero to Infinity is a rendezvous at dusk. The performance starts with the setting sun and ends tiptoeing into the night, looking up to the sky, into the infinite expanse of the universe.
Zero to Infinity intertwines with the wind, the sounds of the night, the moon light ... and allows to listen, let go and immerse ourselves in space and time together.
The former school garden of the Carl-Legien-Schule in Neukölln provides the appropriate setting for this poetic performance. The wildly romantic area has been a Berlin Mondiale neighbourhood campus since 2021, where social and artistic relationships grow between fruit trees, flower beds and old greenhouses.
Agata Maszkiewicz and the collective Superamas have come together and cooperated on several projects, some authored by Superamas, some by Agata Maszkiewicz. For this latest piece, they have embarked on a new way of collaborating and authored the project together.
In order to accomplish this delicate piece of art they enlisted the help of some of their dearest associates: Teresa Acevedo, Sofie Durnez, Antoine Tirmarche, Henri Emmanuel Doublier & Octave Coursin.
