Wolfgang Borchert was only 26 years old. Two and a half years earlier, in May 1945, he returned from the war, marked by an incurable liver disease and the horrors he had experienced. At breakneck speed, he now tries to build a bastion against the approaching death with his words. His most beautiful stories emerge. Experience Borchert's texts, which not only bear witness to the horrors of war, but are also a declaration of love to life!
