Starting with the question: "Where does my power go if I don't direct it against myself?", they access a queer-feminist perspective on the body and its potential for resistance and destruction.


On the trail of a shapeshifter, they roam realms between hardness and fragility. She hurls her body across the stage; she blurs before the eyes; she invites the audience to lose themselves with her in the intoxication of the power of sound and text. They follow her into the twilight and find themselves again in the mosh pit of possibilities.


The biographies of the two artists are marked by stigmatized narratives of "female" violence. With the fantasy of the medieval-inspired hybrid, they seize the animalized and monstrous images of their memories and transform them.


HUNDSKÖPFIGE is a loud bridge to their aunts, mothers, and sisters.


Together with the audience, they embark on a search for a way of looking, listening, and feeling beyond the gendered gaze. A queer gaze that breaks free from binary notions in storytelling on stage, endures ambivalence, and negotiates the brutality and tenderness of being in the world.
