Crafts and village life in the open-air museum: At Pentecost, the Düppel museum village is transformed into a place of living history.

In authentic costumes, the members of the Museumsdorf Düppel e.V. association and traveling craftsmen bring the Middle Ages into the present day for three days. The palisade gate not only leads to a settlement reconstructed according to archaeological findings, but also to a time long past.

Experience up close what everyday village life in our region might have looked like around the year 1200. People cook and dye at the fires in the huts and bread is baked in the ovens. Water is drawn from the well by hand and the wool from the sheep is spun. Children run around the village square, where young and old come together in medieval style.
