The story of the Berlin rowing club "Welle-Poseidon," which accepted (and accepts) "any person of good character, regardless of politics or religion," and whose non-Jewish members made a memorable – in retrospect, unique – decision in 1933.

An encouraging story about courage and lifelong solidarity, about those in hiding, renamed boats, and the longing of former Berliners for their city – plus songs about sailors, the sea, ships, Lake Wannsee, and Berlin.

With Judith Kessler (narrator), Marina Senckel (vocals), and Max Doehlemann (piano).

The project is funded by the Fund for Decentralized Cultural Work of the Spandau District Office of Berlin.
