Literatur LIVE

Life couldn't be nicer in Port Grimaud on the Côte d'Azur: Monsieur Lipaire's incorrigible gang of crooks has only just recovered from their first case in the southern sun when their favourite enemy, the Vicomte family, strikes the next blow.

The noble dynasty wants to get the idyllic lagoon town completely under their rule. Even the mayor doesn't know what to do at first. The sworn-in, albeit rather disparate, Ganov squad has to get together again and take up the cause. Lipaire's charming dilettantes don't really know anything about anything, but they are up to the task and will stop the Vicomtes. Or will they have to serve them the champagne soon?

Volker Klüpfel and Michael Kobr have known each other longer than they haven't: since their school days together at the Allgäu Grammar School in Kempten. After graduating, Klüpfel became a journalist, Kobr a secondary school teacher. In the meantime, they are both full-time authors and are best known for the detective stories with Inspector Kluftinger. But the two have also been successful without the grumpy Allgäuer: with the holiday novel In der ersten Reihe sieht man Meer and with the thriller Draußen.

An event by Literatur LIVE in cooperation with Ullstein Verlag and Thalia Buchhandlung.
