The Göttingen neurobiologist Gerald Hüther discovered something amazing: the brain cannot be afraid and sing at the same time. With this knowledge, Antoinette Lühmann and Christian Dohmke thought about the old story of David and Goliath and created the children's musical “Who sings is not afraid”. David is the youngest child in the family. He's not allowed to join the big boys, he's too small and just good enough to look after the sheep while singing and playing the harp. But David knows that he is loved by God. So he can fearlessly face the great and dangerous Goliath with more courage than all the others and defeats him with God's help.
