Andris Nelsons has often worked with the Vienna Philharmonic. Their joint New Year's concert in 2020, which was watched by an audience of millions worldwide, is legendary. Andris Nelsons began his musical career as a trumpet player, but at the same time he trained as a conductor. He has already been able to assume the position of chief conductor at many major opera houses.
