Hidden structures - A photographic journey into the world of textiles
Textiles have been produced industrially in Germany for around 150 years. Since the 1930s, the knowledge of manufacturing methods has fallen victim to rationalisation measures. Today, only a fraction of the variations in the structures, colours and materials of the fabrics of that time can be produced industrially.

The exhibition provides an insight into the lost world of textiles, and selected enlargements make the structures and diversity of textile fabrics visible.
