Literature LIVE

"I look back and look forward, to what was and to what is yet to come. Here and now I am in my center, I am suddenly completely me, in all my roles: the girl, the woman, the lover, the mother, the singer, the dancer, the painter, the poet. Acting and life become one, art and reality merge. For a split second I see everything again, I see this path that lies behind me and the one that lies ahead, I see my soul..."

An in-depth look at the eventful life of an unusual woman. A journey through time full of episodes, which in the end create a holistic picture, sensitively told full of passion and verve.

Ute Lemper studied acting at the renowned Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. She became famous with her roles in the musicals "Cats" and "Cabaret," and was later celebrated for her Kurt Weill chanson evenings. In the early nineties she moved to New York and became a world star on Broadway. She starred in numerous motion pictures. Today she lives with her family in Manhattan and performs regularly on stage in Germany.

"The Time Traveler" will be published in June 2023 by Gräfe und Unzer Verlag; 240 pages.
