Festival for new music by Deutschlandfunk Kultur and radio3 from rbb
The Stuttgart trio Pony Says deals with current topics in the border area of pop, high, sub and club culture. The program of their debut at Ultraschall Berlin combines a world premiere by Malin Bång with three works that represent the trio's very own, specific aesthetic.
The transformation of visual grammar into writing and sound (and vice versa), the encounter of the vintage analog synthesizer Korg MS20 with today's digital electronic sounds, the alternation of movement and silence. Above all, there is the typical Pony Says liaison of high tech and electronics with delicate, fine poetry.
