Festival für neue Musik von Deutschlandfunk Kultur und radio3 vom rbb

The Ensemble Ascolta, together with Felicitas Hoppe and Salome Kammer, will perform the composition “What is actually being played here?” for two voices, ensemble and electronics by Iris ter Schiphorst and Felicitas Hoppe in the Radialsystem.

What is actually being played here? What is a life, what is a work? How do you put life and desires to music and text? How does it read, how does it sound?

And: How do you escape the autobiographical myth and the limitations of your own seemingly familiar means? The answer is simple: by looking at the person opposite you. That is exactly what Iris ter Schiphorst and Felicitas Hoppe did.
