It was only in the course of the 17th century that the trumpet found its way into art music. On historical instruments, the internationally acclaimed musicians present a multifaceted program of virtuoso court music for six trumpets, timpani, trombone and organ, as it was heard at the courts of Kroměříž/Moravia and especially at the court of Emperor Leopold I in Vienna.
