Inspired by Tobias Schlegl's own experiences as an emergency paramedic
Nora is struck by lightning. She's in the middle of her training to become an emergency paramedic when she realizes she's pregnant. All their plans suddenly vanish into thin air. In order to escape a decision, she throws herself into the internship in the dementia ward. There she meets Diddy, who gives everything for his idiosyncratic patients. And she meets Frank, a withdrawn guy who used to be a paramedic himself and surpasses himself in an emergency. There have been a striking number of emergencies here recently. Nora and Diddy soon realize that Frank is risking his life for the thrill of saving.
