Simple, but complex and all-encompassing, as is life itself – this is Serge Aimé Coulibaly’s new work. “C la vie” is a point of departure towards a new vitality, and an impulse to take matters into one’s own hands again and celebrate the joys of existence.

This production for dancers, voice and percussion, wants to replace a passive existence with action: not to hope, but to have faith. Strength instead of power. Collectivity as the highest value. Coulibaly connects these ideas with rhythm, movement, and exuberance. He calls for a collective and joyful investigation of what it is that makes life worth living.
