Guided Tour
Since 1985, Anna Seghers' former apartment in a tenement building in Berlin-Adlershof has been open to the public as a museum. The writer lived on Volkswohlstraße, renamed Anna-Seghers-Straße in 1984, for almost three decades. Most of her apartment remains unchanged. Her extensive library can be viewed in her living and study.
Visits are possible with a guided tour and by prior arrangement. Tours take place at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.
Due to limited space in the museum, admission begins approximately 10 minutes before the tour.
- The Anna Seghers Museum will continue to be open every first Sunday of the month from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in 2025.
