When Stefan Schwarz is diagnosed with cancer in his mid-fifties, he is almost relieved. Now, at least, the self-confessed hypochondriac no longer has to worry about getting it. Schwarz knows a thing or two about existential upheavals, and as a man of comedy and self-irony, in this book he embarks not only on a journey through the special worlds of oncological therapy, but also on the night side of his life to visit the constraints and defeats that gave rise to his humor.
A book full of cheerful clarity about the things of life, a roadmap also for people in a similar situation, by a storyteller who has to tell himself a new story in order to find the strength to bring himself and not least his family into a more "healing" world.
