25th Jazz and Blues Stage Lichterfelde: Soulful Blues
Born and raised in a small village in the northern Italian mountains, STEF ROSEN brought his guitars and his blues to Berlin in 2016 and within a very short time became a singer and blues guitarist in demand throughout Europe and worldwide. His tours have taken him to Israel, Spain, Finland and South Korea, and he is also a sought-after session musician, studio guitarist (for Eric Bibb, among others), blues producer and sound engineer.

His singing is inspired by the soulful singers of the late 60s, such as Bobby Blue Bland and Little Milton, with echoes of roots & hill country blues. On the guitar, he is an absolute master of his craft and effortlessly spans the spectrum from the original Delta blues to the present day with dreamlike certainty.
With his trio, Lorenzo Bergamino - drums, Matthias Falkenau - Hammond organ, he provides a heart-warming massage for the soul and a real feast for the ears.
