The year 1725 was very productive for Johann Sebastian Bach: As the Thomaskantor in Leipzig, he composed more than 30 sacred cantatas. Elina Albach and her ensemble Continuum are putting together a very unique combination of these 300-year-old works for the opening concert of SPAM. In addition, the Berlin premiere of Caroline Shaw's harpsichord concerto will build a bridge to the present.
