Merlin Hegmann Trio
Funk meets Jazz. The freshly found Merlin Hegmann Trio interprets classics from Erroll Garner to Ella Fitzgerald and presents modern sounds of funk with elements of jazz and fusion.
Influenced by different genres, the three musicians together with special guests create a varied program full of improvisation and musical enjoyment.
Radar
The Berlin band RADAR, founded in 2020, shows itself with its charmingly relaxed manner and the powerful rock sound not only live but also in the studio as a functioning fusion of five musicians* who all follow the same vision.With the first single "Achtung Achtung" they open a musical world that dresses the retro sound of the 80s in a modern rock garb and allows a pop influence. The following singles show how changeable and versatile the music of this band can be. With "Du bist wie nichts" the group offers a poppy counterpart to the rocky first impression and closes the series of singles with a genre collage in "Roboter", which pays its respects to metal at the end. On 28.04. their first EP "TRASH TV" was released.
Spielplatz Prinz Leopold
"Writing is the best therapy," singer-songwriter Daniel Weixler found out early on. The native Viennese started his career alone for the time being - only with his guitar and his voice. The founding process of the band eventually took place at Leopoldplatz. The otherwise seedy location in Berlin's Wedding district becomes the group's creative center. When a demo recording automatically names itself after a nearby playground, the name is also born. "Spielplatz Prinz Leopold" participate in the renaissance of handmade band music. Quiet guitars evolve into energetic rock anthems. Melancholy and swelling soundscapes define the sound of the young musicians. Together they play themselves into the hearts of their listeners and guarantee a unique experience full of fun and harmony. Get ready for rousing melodies and soulful lyrics. Because playground Prince Leo remains!
