Photographs by Olaf Otto Becker
Fascinatingly beautiful on the one hand, vulnerable, crumbling or even completely destroyed on the other: the consequences of climate change and human intervention in nature are evident in many of our planet's landscapes.
With the photo exhibition "Signs of Change. Landscapes in Climate Change", the German Museum of Technology in Berlin is showing important stations from the work of Olaf Otto Becker. Whether Greenland or Siberia, Southeast Asia or Australia: photographer Olaf Otto Becker has been on the trail of changes on our planet for over 30 years.
For his series of images, he goes to places where the effects of climate change are visible and tangible.
The exhibition is part of the EMOP - European Month of Photography 2023 in Berlin.
