Chamber music at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development
A fresh ‘education offensive’ is on the horizon – this time in the elegant foyer of the Max Planck Institute for Human Development. In keeping with the inspiring atmosphere, the concert is once again themed ‘Music educates.’
Two masterpieces of chamber music come together this evening: one of Mozart's last trios meets Beethoven's first major work in this genre. Maturity meets new beginnings, serenity meets a spirit of experimentation – an exciting musical dialogue between legacy and new beginnings.
Programme:
- Morpheus String Trio, MinJung Kang (violin), Miguel Angel Lorenzo (viola), Uwe Hirth-Schmidt (cello)
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: String Trio in E-flat major, K. 563, Allegro – Adagio – Minuet. Allegretto – Andante – Minuet. Allegretto – Allegro
- Ludwig van Beethoven: String Trio in E-flat major, Op. 3, Allegro con brio – Andante – Minuet. Allegretto – Adagio – Minuet. Moderato – Finale. Allegro
The concert is organised by the Konzertleben association, which has been promoting young freelance musicians since 2020. Its aim is to support excellent artists after their studies as they embark on their professional music careers.
