In the exhibition “Shadows of Light”, photographer Lothar Wolleh meets the painter Alexander Camaro, who he portrays. Both artists met and worked together again and again over many years, they valued each other as people and artists.
The closeness between photographer and painter in their understanding of color and light becomes clear in the exhibition.
For the first time in an exhibition, the emphasis is placed on the independent colored work of Lothar Wolleh, who, starting in 1962, developed his own color compositions with light, shadow, blurring, blurring and analogue technology. The reason for the photos shown here was the Second Vatican Council from 1962 to 1965.
