Young, handsome, aristocratic. And he can sing, too. Salvador Sobral is one of Portugal's best-known international artists, thanks to his acclaimed triumph at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, which he won with a song composed by his sister (Luisa Sobral) - and with the best result in the history of the ESC.
Now Salvador Sobral comes in Neukölln to present his new album "bpm". With him he has his band, consisting of: Max Agnas (piano), André Rosinha (double bass), Bruno Pedroso (drums) and André Santos (guitar).
Recorded in the South of France, "bpm" was for the first time completely composed by Salvador himself together with his longtime partner Leo Aldrey. The songs were mostly written during a common vacation in the south of Portugal, they underline once more Salvador's versatility and his global understanding of music.
