LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN! The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Jim Sharman, 1975) is THE definition of a cult film: Based on the musical by Richard O'Brien, it was initially a flop in theaters - but as a midnight movie it quickly developed a loyal fan base.

And they were just as quickly won over by the adventures of the stuffy couple Brad and Janet in Frank N. Furter's castle. Here, people sing and dance along, interact with the film with foul-mouthed sayings (the so-called call backs) and throw toilet paper, playing cards and sponges to match the scenes.
The film musical party is traditionally led by Shadow Casts - amateur actors and actresses in homemade costumes who play along with and re-enact the film as it plays, bringing the lively action on the screen directly into the audience.
RHPS Berlin has been committed to this tradition for 14 years and has been able to perform their idiosyncratic, trashy interpretation of Rocky Horror not only in the movie theaters and open-air cinemas of the capital, but also on stages all over Germany, in Paris and London.
