Filmmaker

Robert Frank’s photographic oeuvre has become part of the canon of art history. However, his films and videos, which were the focus of his work from 1959 onwards, are still treated in many circles as a well-kept secret in the fields of film and art history. In conjunction with the exhibition “Keep a Stiff Upper Lip! Gundula Schulze Eldowy and Robert Frank”, they will now feature in a packed weekend: six screenings of works by Robert Frank, as well as Laura Israel's wonderful film Don’t Blink about the artist.
