The Komödie am Kurfürstendamm celebrated a stage hit with the play "Rio Reiser - Mein Name ist Mensch" directed by Frank Leo Schröder! After the successful series of performances at the Schiller Theater, the comedy now presents the production at Heimathafen Neukölln.

Berlin 1970: squats, Kommune 1, the founding of the RAF - West Berlin is the center of the subversive underground. During this time of upheaval and rebellion, the legendary band Ton Steine Scherben formed around Rio Reiser. When the band falls apart, Rio Reiser starts a solo career.
The band in the play interprets the songs in a confusingly similar way, yet in their own unique way. In three exclusive concerts they now play known and unknown songs by Rio Reiser, pure and in concert.
Rio Reiser lives - the dream is far from over.
