As part of the CrossKultur Festival, a free reading from the book “Don’t Forget Us! – Stories from Afghanistan” will take place at the Interkulturelles Haus Berlin Schöneberg.

Lesung des Buches "Vergesst uns nicht! - Geschichten aus Afghanistan"
Freedom – since August 2021, it has been nothing more than a dream for Afghan women. They are no longer allowed to work, study or speak loudly in public, and they face violence.
Their life stories, hopes and demands have been translated by the doctor and writer Julia Augustin and the sociologist, social worker and researcher Ahmad Hamid Wahidy, with the help of the organisations FIDA e.V., MAH e.V. and PAO e.V., and compiled from interviews in the book “Don’t Forget Us! – Stories from Afghanistan”.
