The term climate justice was coined primarily by people from countries that contribute the least to the climate crisis, but at the same time are most affected by it and find it most difficult to protect themselves from it.
Climate justice requires taking responsibility for the consequences of those who cause it. The film “Bigger Than Us” shows a portrait of the young global movement. Six young people from Lebanon to the African continent to Brazil show their world of commitment. They fight for human rights, for the climate, for freedom of expression, social justice and access to education or food. After the film, Noro Enkhbaatar will be welcomed by GenderCC – Women for Climate Justice e.V.
She is a representative of a network of organizations, experts and activists from all over the world who have come together to fight together for gender-equitable climate policy. The discussion will focus on the experiences and inspiration of the young activist and the question of what motivates her to fight for her principles again and again.
