The 13 video works by artists who are sick, disabled, deaf or in care demonstrate that performance does not require an unrestricted or physically present body.

These works will be presented on a large screen in HAU2 and have already achieved great success as part of Berlin Art Week in HAU4. Now visitors have the opportunity to experience the videos together.
The curators Frances Breden and RA Walden have put together a selection of works that are directly connected to the body and take place in the here and now, without requiring the artists to conform to the hindering norms of the art world.
In addition to the video works, the artists have developed “perforative scores” that allow the audience to breathe or sing together. Afterwards there is the opportunity to meet in CAN.
RA Walden most recently presented the video work “Science Fiction Is Not Pretend” at HAU4 in 2022.
