A conversation about photographs
The exhibition SEITENFLÜGEL - Berlin Prenzlauer Berg 1992-1997 at the Museum Pankow shows a unique cross-section of photographic work between the fall of the Berlin Wall and the turn of the millennium with a total of 67 photographic motifs.
The pictures offer a broad spectrum of journalistic, documentary and artistic views, which are characterized on the one hand by their high photographic quality and on the other by their value as contemporary historical documents.
What do they tell us about everyday life, the diverse upheavals in society or a district in transition? The photographer and curator of the exhibition, Christine Kisorsy, explores these questions in conversation with the photo historian Dr. Enno Kaufhold using selected motifs.
Before the event, at 18:00, there will be an opportunity to take part in a short guided tour of the exhibition with the curatorTranslated with DeepL
