The Berlin Philharmonic Choir is one of the most respected oratorio choirs in Germany and has stood for flexible, transparent, multi-faceted musical expression since it was founded in 1882. In each concert season, the Berlin Philharmonic Choir presents classics of choral literature as well as unknown works, world premieres or first performances in its own subscription series in the Berlin Philharmonie. The choir always works with different orchestras and is an important musical ambassador for Berlin.
