All over the World Tour 2023-2024
Hardly any other band shaped the 70s, 80s and even partly the 90s like the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) with 50 million records sold and numerous No1 hits.

The aim when the band was founded in the early 70s was to continue the Beatles sound from the Sgt. Pepper's phase, a mixture of classical with rock and beat music. This homage to the Beatles is clearly heard again and again in the music from ELO. With 27 Top 40 songs in the UK Single Charts, ELO is one of the most successful bands in the British Single Charts.
PHIL BATES was already on the “Spaceship World Tour” in 1978 with the Electric Light Orchestra and its founder Jeff Lynne and played a significant role in shaping the ELO sound as singer and guitarist of the “Electric Light Orchestra Part II” and the successor formation “The Orchestra”.
Today PHIL BATES fronts his own ELO formation, the Electric Light Band, which to this day sets standards for all fans of the Electric Light Orchestra. Tradition obliges, which is why the Electric Light Orchestra songs are played authentically, passionately and full of energy. Stylish arrangements, cool voices and convincing soloists ensure that Phil Bates and his band are considered a unique Electric Light Orchestra show.
With well over 500 concerts and festival appearances, PHIL BATE's version of the Electric Light Orchestra is making its mark worldwide - whether in South Africa, Russia, Canada or Germany, the fascination of ELO's music works everywhere.
The "All Over The World" Tour 2023/24 will present the entire range from the various ELO eras of the 70s, 80s and 90s with immortal hits such as "Livin' Thing", "Evil Woman", "Hold On Tight", " Sweet Talkin' Woman” or “Turn To Stone”.
