Ntent.art and Obey Art Space presented an exhibition celebrating the stages of life: petls
ntent is a Berlin-based art collective that aims to foster a new era of collaboration in the art world to expand community. NTENT.ART is a digital art and immersive experiences collective that uses cutting-edge smart-contract technology to empower artists to bring their visions to life in dynamic and generative ways.
Founded by Dr.Banner, Blue Mo0n and jiwa, the collective was created as a tool to promote the values of the art world. It shines a spotlight on sustainable, diverse and inclusive practices by calling on artists, collectors and participants to push the boundaries of what is possible and break through current and limiting industry constructs.
On March 16, the ntent collective will host a vernissage in collaboration with Obey Gallery to kick off the launch of their new exhibition petls.
Co-founder and artist jiwa is exploring different approaches to creating live generative art for the exhibition, focusing on the importance of technological literacy in contemporary culture. She collaborates with web3 industry players such as Protocol Labs and IPFS.
The show is a multi-sensory experience that celebrates the stages of growth by combining natural and digital elements. Petls combines the ephemeral nature of flowers with the permanence of generative art.
Berlin-based floral artist Carolin Ruggaber is designing a tangible environmental display that will adorn ten digital displays in the main space with 194 unique generative artworks, five physical print editions on acid-free museum paper, and an exclusive 1.88m x 1.41m framed print upstairs.
The exhibition will offer visitors the opportunity to purchase artworks in print or digital form, using cash, credit card or crypto payments. By offering a variety of payment methods and mediums, the collective hopes to give more people the opportunity to collect art and promote more diversity and inclusion in the field.
