Wunderschön unperfekt Tour: Paule & Band
One of these talents is acting and many have known her for almost 20 years as "Alex Holtkamp" from the TV series "Wilsberg" alongside Leonard Lansink, Rita Russek and Oliver Korritke or alongside Christian Kohlund as "Dominique Kuster" in "Der Zürich-Krimi".
But music has also always had a firm place in Paule's heart. With her current album wunderschön unperfekt Paule presents, after her self-titled debut, already her second album. It is a wonderfully stirring album, in which Paule's warm voice takes the leading role.
The minimalist instrumentation accompanies her at eye level and charmingly underscores the vocals without pushing itself to the fore. Guitars, double bass, banjo, at times a sea of choirs as well as the cautiously used drums come together as if by themselves to form this magnificent piece of handmade music.
Live Paule is supported by her band, consisting of Wayne Jackson - electric guitar and bass drum (Bela B, The Dead Lovers), who is also the producer of her two albums, Jan Stolterfoht — acoustic guitar (Seeed, Fred Wesley and others) and Michael ORyan — double bass (Nina Hagen).
