OpernSalon - Parsifal
Wagner's last stage work, the conclusion and rounding off of his work, has the somewhat pretentious subtitle "Bühnenweihfestspiel". According to the composer's wishes, it should never be heard outside of Bayreuth! Elias Corrinth reveals what this mystery is all about in the "OpernSalon".
Also in the program: the discovery of slowness, Wagner as a senior church councilor, a main character without a leitmotif, the wine list of the Holy Grail, Parsifal vs. Arindal, Buddhism on Good Friday and much more.
