After a three-year break, the time has finally come again: On Sunday, September 10, 2023, the Berlin animal shelter invites you to the popular late summer event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A wide range of attractions awaits you - definitely worth a visit! Even the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Kai Wegner (CDU), will be present.
Guests can look forward to impressive performances, including the legendary agility show and a lovingly staged demonstration with the dogs from the shelter. Participation activities, guided tours through the facility, a varied stage program and a children's animal protection area with a rally, bouncy castle and water ball pool are also on the program.
Informative offers about animal welfare and keeping pets are also included. The colorful supporting program promises entertainment for young and old. A market area with stands and food trucks in Eichenhain also offers shopping opportunities and culinary delights that are vegan-vegetarian.
So don't hesitate: come by, enjoy the time and make a contribution to animal welfare!
In order to give the animal residents some rest, we ask for your understanding that the animal houses are generally open, but may be closed at times.
In view of the limited parking space, it is recommended to use public transport to get here. A free shuttle bus runs at regular intervals between the Ahrensfelde S-Bahn station and the animal shelter.
Tip: A shuttle bus leaves Steglitz for the animal shelter at 11 a.m. and returns at 4 p.m. There are still a few places available. Please register online or by phone on 030 76888-122.
