Der satirische Jahresrückblick mit dem Witzigsten aus 2023
On the radio, ONKeL fISCH looks back on the week every seven days in their highly praised programs for WDR 2 and SWR 3. At the end of the year, the short route for the radio will go on a long tour through the theaters of the Republic for the seventh time, where of course the DISTEL cannot be missed.
Who would have thought: the changing times will bring about a change in traffic in 2023 and Germany will send Leopard tanks to Ukraine. After just a year of discussion – this must be the pace in Germany. The Chinese are faster and more environmentally friendly. They send weather balloons to the USA. Much to the annoyance of Volker Wissing, because the balloons fly without combustion engines. The traffic light coalition members are arguing, the unions are on strike and the banks are bankrupt again. Gianni Fifantino is re-elected and proves that in 2023 football is only about sporting values: money, shares and power.
ONKEL FISCH present 365 days in 100 breathless minutes: Here you can mock, praise, swear, sing and dance to your heart's content. Action cabaret straight from the creative minds of two award-winning and experienced “masters of cabaret” (Main Echo).
The ONKeL fISCH duo was founded in 1994. Since then, Adrian Engels and Markus Riedinger have not only demolished hundreds of stages all over Germany, but have also thrilled radio listeners with thousands of sketches (WDR 2, WDR 5, SWR 3, Eins Live, HR 3, and many others). Television shows (Nightwash, Stratmann's, SWR Late Night and many others) enriched, wrote and produced himself. And because Mother Nature has gifted them with an extra dose of energy and crazy ingenuity, they just can't stop.
For DISTEL they co-wrote the successful plays “The Purpose Sanctifies the Evening” (2015), “Where to Go with Mutti” (2016) and “Germany in the Menopause” (2021). “In the Backroom of Power” (2023) is their first complete DISTEL program.
