Ein musikalisch-philosophischer Abend unter Einbezug des Publikums
“Our times demand that we learn new skills,” writes composer and percussionist Max Andrezejewski. “An action that involves our bodies and our feelings. A form that allows us to face crisis(es), war(s), loss(es) holistically and with curiosity, in order to feel an openness and perhaps even a quiet hope. In any case, a feeling of self-efficacy and creative power.”
Zola Mennenöh has written poetic texts based on thoughts by visual artist, researcher and activist Lisa Nyberg, which Max Andrzejewski has translated into chamber music with great sensitivity.
The result is a crossover between contemporary music, improvisation and spoken word as well as a performance by Lisa Nyberg on excerpts from her doctoral thesis “Pedagogies for a future without guarantees”.
There will be an audience discussion with the artists after the concert.
