An evening in search of home and identity. Developed by and with young people from Berlin as part of a participatory community project.

What is home, where is home, what connects people in Berlin across all differences, what is this city for us and what does it sound like? Since June 2024, young people from Marzahn have been asking themselves all of these questions and, together with project designer Kian Jazdi and pianist Hanni Liang, have created a staged evening with an open end in regular workshops that combines performance, setting and light.

The aim: to stimulate the creativity of all those present and encourage them to become active through music.

Funded by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion as part of the Youth Culture Initiative and supported by Berlin Mondiale

An evening in search of home and identity.
