Festival Orchester Berlin
For 20 years, the Festival Orchestra Berlin, a multicultural association of musicians from leading European orchestras, has been delighting audiences with its repertoire of the Baroque, Viennese Classical and Romantic eras, complemented by musical rarities. The orchestra plays on old Italian instruments and thus guarantees an extremely beautiful sound.
Within the ensemble there are some “Bachians” who present the most beautiful Bach works in this New Year's Eve concert. Pieces by Pachelbel and Grieg as well as Mozart's Salzburg symphonies are also heard with vitality and playfulness. The orchestra rings in the end of the year in the second part with Antonio Vivaldi's “Winter” from the Four Seasons.
