To mark the anniversary, the Kommunale Galerie Berlin is focusing on the neighborhood around Fehrbelliner Platz and presenting it as a space for action. Fehrbelliner Platz is heavily influenced by through traffic.
The public space is crossed by people who use the streets on their way to work or home in the rhythm of their professional lives and briefly roam through the diverse mix of surrounding architecture.
The exhibition presents people and architecture in motion through drawings on fabric as well as film and sound recordings. In addition, seating areas for outdoor use are being designed in a participatory manner, inviting people to use them together.
