"Like me" is a celebration of the encounter between audience and artists. A party. And at the same time a funeral of the pandemic.

The dance performance of the Brazilian group Cia. Perversos Polimorfos (which can be translated as 'group of the perverse multiformed') surrounding the artist Ricardo Gali revolves around the provocative question of the Brazilian dance researcher and social psychologist Marina Guzzo: When can we finally go to the theater again without fear?
Because "after the desert we crossed in our isolation and our attempts at immunological precautions during the pandemic, we are now left with only one option: to rely on the communal form of existence to develop care and a sense of community," says Ricardo Gali.

For Cia. Perversos Polimorfos, the collaboration between artists and audience is the essential key to understanding life during and after the pandemic. On stage, performers Lucas Delfino and Ricardo Gali invite you to a celebration where we remember that we are alive and drink to the dead.

The piece originally took place in the public sphere - streets or squares - and involved the audience in its choreography.
For the Público Festival, Cia. Perversos Polimorfos has developed a stage version that will be experienced for the first time in Europe at Acker Stadt Palast.

If you're hungry, eat. If you're thirsty, drink. If you're alive, dance!
