Cat pictures are the favorites in the social media channels. So why shouldn't a master student of fine arts try his hand at such motifs?

Martin Eder calls his current exhibition in the gallery EIGEN + ART ELYSIUM. The Latin word Elysium means the "Island of the Blessed", an imaginary place in Greek mythology where the immortal heroes can enjoy their lives in joy. A paradise. Later interpretations, on the other hand, move "Elysium" to the dark, boring part of the underworld.

So what interpretation does "ELYSIUM" as the title of Martin Eder's current exhibition refer to? Perhaps an Elysium with a tarnished image - one that needs to reinvent itself? In any case, this exhibition in the gallery EIGEN + ART is worth a click or a visit.
