Simply treat yourself to the luxury of a free concert at the Philharmonie during your lunch break. Between September and June you can do this every Wednesday at 1 p.m. A varied program awaits you for around 40 to 50 minutes, ranging from chamber music pieces to piano works to drum duos - everything from Tchaikovsky to tango is represented.
Members of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra or the Karajan Academy often appear, as do guests from the German Symphony Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Berlin or the Berlin music academies. In typical lunch concert style, high-quality yet affordable catering is offered from 12 p.m. until shortly before the concert begins.
