Who wouldn't like to go to a concert in the Philharmonie during the lunch break, and for free too? This fascinating opportunity is available every Wednesday between September and June at 1 p.m. During these short 40 to 50 minutes there is a diverse musical program to enjoy, ranging from chamber music performances to masterful piano pieces to rousing drum duos. From Tchaikovsky to tango, from classical to modern, there is something for every taste.

Talented musicians can often be seen on stage, including members of the renowned Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and the esteemed Karajan Academy. But guests from the German Symphony Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Berlin and the up-and-coming talents from Berlin's music academies also delight the audience.

And of course, as is expected at a lunch concert, there will be high-quality yet affordable catering to pamper the taste buds from 12 p.m. until shortly before the concert begins.
