In “FUCK ME”, Marina Otero has five naked men dance for her. In contrast to these indestructible muscleheads, Otero gives an unrelenting account of the marks that the meritocracy has left on her body.
In “LOVE ME”, the dancer stands on the stage alone, confronting the violence she carries within her. By making her body available as an object of research, Marina Otero deals with themes that affect us all: pain, the passing of time, love, death, and violence.
