“Berlin is the place where it all began for me,” says Freddie Long of Lost Romantic. The Brit has been on the music scene for several years and has built up a loyal fan base with his powerful rock style. But everything really took off when he met drummer Kieran Leigh last year and founded Lost Romantic with him.

According to Long, when they met, all the pieces of the puzzle fit together perfectly and everything developed naturally. In fact, their very first concert as a band took place directly at the Lollapalooza festival in the capital last September. Anyone who was there can be sure that they witnessed a promising project under construction.

Long's influences span a wide spectrum and, as he says, lie somewhere between Jamiroquai and Blink-182. Over the years, this special old-school indie rock has developed, with songs that delight both small clubs and large festival stages - and the Brit from Brighton has played both.

The next step for them should be conquering stadiums, because that's exactly where their anthemic pieces like "I Can't Say No" or "In Your Eyes" belong. Lost Romantic not only masters the grand musical gesture, she loves it and brings it to the stage again and again.

Their debut album "LoveXHate" will be released on September 22nd, and in October Lost Romantic will of course return to where it all began: Berlin for an exclusive concert.
