BAAM aims to bring to life the stories and perspectives of composers and musicians on both sides of the Atlantic by featuring great musical works of the 20th and 21st centuries that inspire dialogue, connection, and compassion. BAAM is committed to pushing orchestral programming to evolve by focusing not only on traditional repertoire, but the lost voices, contemporary voices and underrepresented voices of today. We believe this evolution, widening representation in programming, is the first step to cultivating the younger generations of audiences and to help current audiences expand their perspective and deepen their understanding.
